Kristyn and Heath - Sesquicentennial State Park - Columbia SC - {Styled Shoot}

Greetings,

A while ago we were in the process of planning an amazing shoot! Something a little different than the normal. We wanted to decorate a set with a date night theme outdoors! We reached out to a few people who could do this for us and Shatoyia of Roxie Bella Event Design stepped up and brought the vision to life!

I didn't quite know exactly what I wanted but I knew I wanted a table in the woods! I gave her and her team full control over the decorations and man was I impressed! She pulled out all the stops. I am talking tables, dinner plates, candles, napkins, flowers and yes even chandelier. I was so excited for my couple to arrive to start the shooting process!

As Kristyn and Heath arrived, I can already see love in their eyes, not from the set but for each other. It was at that moment I knew that this shoot was going to be something special. As we talked about what we were going to do, they were eager to get started as well. All I had to say was act natural. I didn't have to tell anyone to smile because they made each other do that seamlessly with their constant cute words and motions.

Here we go, with photo number one things started off with a bang! I am talking lights camera action....we studio lit the entire set! I am sure people on the outer border of the woods were wondering, what was going on with all the flashing lights! We were going for something a little different and this was definitely it. It isn't everyday you see a studio set in the woods! As the session progressed, tons and tons of walkers and runners passed us by. We constantly kept telling them "we apologize" because we did take over their running space. None of them seemed to care though. They were all amazed at what was taking place with a few stopping just to watch before completing their jog. We even had a nice gentlemen lend us his bike as a prop for one of our favorite shots!

I personally would like to thank Shatoyia of Roxie Bella Event Design for making this set possible. We would also like to thank Quentin of Eyedew for coming to capture some behind the scenes footage for us. I want to thank Kristyn and Heath for allowing their love to captured!

Until then, please enjoy some of our favorite photos!

Very nice work. This should be in a magazine. Great use of the drone in the video as well..
